Welcome to the new year! I recently participated in a photoshoot, which thankfully lead to some pictures that are professional enough for this site! I've been really busy getting back into the swing of school, as well as editing my most recent book. I've also added another section to this new layout - Extras. I'll be adding some short stories and poems, as well as various other things about my books. Check it out!

It's odd to think that this year is almost over. It feels like just a few days ago I was sitting on the couch watching marathons of weight loss shows to ring in the new year. It's also hard to believe that tomorrow is my 20th birthday and I will no longer be a "teenager." This is weird for a young adult author, especially since I feel like I am no longer considered a "young adult." Still, here I am, slaving over a new layout in attempts to usher in a new format that is easier to update and read. My main problem came from the fact that all of my novels are so different. There's The Clan, where Animaul is torn between what she was raised to understand and what seems right. Muse futures a city ravaged by vampires in the future, where even the smallest good deed doesn't go unpunished. Lastly, sitting collecting dust on my metaphorical bookshelf, is Dear, Homminus, where three very different people tell their heart wrenching tale as a girl is kidnapped by a cult. It's my great pride and joy to mention that another book will be adding itself to my small shelf of self-published manuscripts. This book has no title (I'm horrible at these), but is fully written and under harsh scrutiny by my mother. The book is about Michelle, a directionless 19 year old high school senior with an amazing ability to see ghosts. She's been alone her whole life, labeled as "delusional" as a child. One day she meets a boy named Aiden who claims he can hear ghosts, and her whole life is changed forever.

Kind of hard to make a layout that reflects all of those, isn't it?

I guess this will have to do, because right now I'm favoring the simplicity of this website over it's striking or breathtaking beauty. Right now I'm really just hunting away for an agent, so functionality is a must.
